Firefox and a recent pc upgrade and Oxy loads in 3 seconds now no matter how complex things are. Decent hosting, decent pc and using FF and there really isn’t a problem anymore (for me)

    Oxygen builder hates chromium

  9. Ivan 'noodlez' Neeladoo says

It’s a real shame with all the issues I consistently come across with oxygen that I’ve just decided to switch entirely to JAMStack development. Always ends up taking the same amount of time anyway without having to spend ages debugging and ultimately realising Oxygen can’t do everything natively so you’re not saving as much time as you think. However, Oxygen will remain the best WP page builder and I will still use it for extremely trivial websites. I’ll also definitely be keeping a close eye on Oxygen over the next few years, hopefully it will be the beast it was meant to be by then.

Gets on my wick that everyone in this group seems to think Firefox is some magic answer for the slow backend. It’s not – it’s still painfully slow.

  15. Stephanie Shaw says

I have been a loyal, raving Oxygen fan but I am considering another builder because this slows me down SOOOO much. I use Brave browser, have a super fast server and have tried lots of things to speed it up but it’s just soooo slow to load. Slow in all browsers.

You’ll build incredible sites with Oxygen. One day….

  16. Vin Edward says

Everytime I start to work with Oxygen, I’ll go grab a cup of coffee in the meantime while waiting for the editor to load. Usually it loads after I finished my second cup.

  17. Mateusz Pelczar says
