DYNAMIC FIELD – CURRENT LOGGED IN USER’S NAME

DYNAMIC FIELD – CURRENT LOGGED IN USER’S NAME

So facebook’s group search feature isn’t working right now for me, so my apologies if this has been asked before.

I am trying to add a dynamic field of the logged in user’s first name. The only options I see in the dynamic fields options is the display name, which gives me their username. Even if I change the display name manually in the user profile, it still gives me the username for some reason.

How do I access all the other user fields? Do I have to use the meta/custom field? If so, what is the correct meta key for the first name?

    I’m not sure if it can be done easily with Dynamic Data but then again I haven’t really studied it and don’t use it much. Maybe someone knows of a solution with it but here is a code snippet that does the job:

    user_firstname;
    ?>

    It’s a confirmed bug in Oxygen:

    Niko’s code example will do the job.

    Hi,
    I don’t see any Niko’s code on that page. Can you give me information where I can find this code?
    Thanks in advance.
