Hey gang! Please help! I’ve just launched an Oxygen site, and as part of the process have changed the domain name. I’m using a search replace plugin to update the database, but everytime I run it most of the site breaks. Is this a known issue? Can anyone assist?

Thanks in advance

Plugin “Better Search Replace” does a very good job.

Be aware that search/replace plugins can’t find and change domain name in Code Blocks since those are base64 encoded. You would have to manually change those.

After changing domain you need to re-sign Oxygen’s shortcodes: Oxygen > Settings > Security > Sign All Shortcodes
You also might need to regenerate CSS cache: Oxygen > Settings > CSS Cache > Regenerate CSS Cache

I usually use Go Live URL update Pro to change domains and then make sure to reassign short codes. This article may help https://isotropic.co/3-steps-to-resolve-99-of-problems-with-oxygen-builder/

Matt Hias Chris Claghorn Thanks so much for the help guys! I went round a few times before realising I also needed to re-sign ‘oxy_user_library’ as I’m using the Gutenberg integration to build blocks. Thanks again 🙏
