I am having a problem with one of my Oxygen websites that gives me random 500 errors when I try to click into Edit with Oxygen. It doesn’t happen all the time and when it does, I can usually refresh that page 1 – 4 times and it will bring up the Oxy editor. Has anyone ever seen such a thing happen? If so, why would this happen and what did you do to resolve it?

I’ve had this happen on a client site while I was developing it. It’s on a host that is different from any other I have for client sites and I’ve never had it happen on any other hosting service. It drove me crazy while I was trying to work on it. I can’t provide any evidence, but my feeling is that it is something to do with their server setup since the client was getting the same error from a different location. Their tech support was no help at all. They insisted it was on my end even though myself and my client were in different cities with different types of computers, browsers, and different ISP’s. I eventually managed to complete the site and since the client didn’t hire me for ongoing maintenance I haven’t been back into it to see if it is still happening.

When this issue pops up, it’s usually not enough memory allocated.
