I have an issue with a dynamic text field that gets the current page title in a template that stops rendering after a particular number of template inherits. Is there a limit?
So, for example, my About page currently uses the About Page Template, the title doesn’t render, but if i change it to use the template higher in the hierarchy, it does.

Template Structure that works
Main > Page (title field in this template) > Narrow Page

Template Structure that stops working works
Main > Page (title field in this template) > Narrow Page > About Page

I’m not aware of any limit with templating.
At least didn’t experience something like this.
Did you try to enable WP debug log to get possible critical errors? Memory or the like?

Just wondering: Do you really have a template for the About page?
I could understand a template “Narrow Page”, but really going futher?

I’m not sure what you’re trying to achieve that needs such a convoluted template structure 🤷‍♂️

This is a known issue and has been reported in Github.

Does any other Page use that Template? If not, why set it up as a Template and apply it to that Page? Why not build that Page directly with Oxygen?
