I’ve a bit of a problem I’m hoping someone can help with.

I’ve got a site divided into 3 ‘sections’. Each section is a page.

Under each page is a ‘sub section’, which is another page (with the ‘section’ as it’s parent).

Finally, there are content pages within the sub sections.

When a new content page is added, I want to show that on the home page. But, I want to show that under the label of the section it’s in.

So, I wanted to create a custom query (which I’m doing with Easy Posts and advanced settings) to do it.

Here’s what I have so far…

post_parent (Set to the ID of the section)

Orderby = date
Order = DESC
posts_per_page = 1
nopaging = true

But, that is not working.

Firstly, posts_per_page doesn’t seem to be doing a thing.

Secondly, post_parent seems to only be pulling out the child pages directly under them and I need something that pulls out any sub-page of our main page.

Can anyone help?
