Oxygen Classes – big problem for people who like to write custom css per stylesheet.
In my desite to build a website in a most efficient way, I like to set up utility classes in my stylesheet. For example: I have a class “split”, which sets a div for mobile with flex-direction colum, for larger screens with flex-direction row.
I only have to give the div the class split inside oxygen. Wonderfully efficient!… Except – the oxygen classes get in my way – like “.ct-div-block”, which insists that the div has a flex-direction of colum, always.

As I googled, I found that there are! other people, who desperatly would like the ability to remove Oxygen’s classes like ct-div-block, ct-link-button, ct-link-text, etc.
(This classes don’t have to be removed for those who like these. With a switch button would be completly fine, to just disable them.)

As long as there is no such ability, oxygen builder can not be seen as a builder for developers. Its just getting in the way too much!

Here the link to other people who struggle with the oxygen classes:

I am sure that there are many more!

Yeah, not even sure that a div should have display: flex by default…
